My packing list

Main backpack contents

The last couple of days I’ve got all the rest of my stuff for my trip and “test-packed” my backpacks. That way I’ll know if I’ll have some space left or have to leave some stuff behind. I’ve actually packed my bags 3 times and everytime you find new ways to save spaces or manage to fit something extra in there or create some extra space.

All packed and ready!
All packed and ready!
Once everything is all packed up, it should weigh roughly about 9kg for the backpack. Not too bad I guess, I’ve tried moving around with it and testfitting the shoulder straps and they feel comfortable enough for now. After the first time packing, I had to eliminated an extra hoody, a longsleeve shirt and an extra pair of shorts. Test-packing is really a good way to determine what you actually need and more importantly, what you can live without. After a couple of times you also get a better idea how to fit things to save space.
